We are talking about what is called Wine Hopping, a trend that has become very popular among Athenians the later years but is gaining significant popularity amongst visitors of the capital. Wine Hopping is simply a strolling around the multiple wineries that have opened in the centre of Athens the last few years. Usually these are small, cosy places well hidden in narrow streets or higly-visible in busy arcades and gallerias each with its own unique style, decoration or thematic. Sometimes these wineries are focused to specific grape varieties but others can offer to their guests wines from all over the world. However, none neglects to accompany their wine with starters and suitable cullinary for every taste and flavour.
